Influenced by the Persian poetry and traditional music and by masters of existentialist cinema such as Laurie Anderson, Abbas Kiarostami, Wim Wenders, Jim Jarmusch, Mania Akbari and Andrei Tarkovsky, and magical realist pioneers of literature such as Carlos Castaneda and Richard Bach, she uses her camera as a tool to search for the Truth in every corner of the universe and usually prefers to let the story/mystery unfold in front of her camera in its own right time.
